　　据说，这首1983年问世的曲子原是为纪念甲克虫乐队(The Beatles)被枪杀的主唱约翰-列侬(John Lennon)而作。这首歌的作者是：Mike Oldfield，英国作曲家。出生于1953年5月15日。收录于1983年的专辑《Crises 危机》中。

　　1980年12月8日，马克•查普曼伪装成一个歌迷，在列侬的公寓旁边徘徊了很久。那天晚上，当列侬从录音棚返回家中的时候，查普曼请列侬在他的签字本上签名。当时他内心曾进行过激烈的斗争，但最后仍然举起枪朝着列侬的后背连开了5枪。 和Moonlight Shadow中所写的He was shot six times by a man on the run类似。

　　这首歌网上有好多个版本，我还是比较喜欢Dana Winner(专辑：Unforgettable　2001-10)的版本。Dana Winner翻唱的Moonlight Shadow是比较有代表性的。

　　这版本充满欧陆民谣风，节奏由慢而快，开始的时候是很柔和舒服，当渐渐步入高潮时，节奏就开始轻快，女歌手的声音如月光般清澈透明，仿佛穿透了云层，自窗外天空飘了进来，轻快的节奏会让人随着节奏而翩翩起舞。Dana Winner的声线很适合moonlight shadow，因为很甜美柔和，很适合这首歌要代表的寓境。

　　Dana Winner，比利时女歌手，音色纯净，音域宽广的她1988年在一次混音竞赛中，以一首由Mireille Mathieu唱的“Amour Défendu”获胜。次年，发行了第一张单曲翻唱卡朋特的“Top of the World”(Op het dak van de wereld)，从此走上演艺事业。1992年末，另一首单曲“Woordenloos”发行，立即收到乐迷们的青睐，上榜之后，排名更是居高不下，达数月之久。

　　Dana Winner的第一张专辑”Regenbogen”CD在1993年10月发行，专辑取得巨大的成功，销量超过150000张，荣获比利时最佳女歌手金眼奖，囊获5个白金奖．第二张专辑”Mijn paradijs”发行后，夺得4个白金奖项，再次捧得金眼奖．

　　1995年，当属Dana的事业颠峰期，在新专辑”Regen van Geluk”发行后，各种奖项接踵而来，其中包括：”Golden Eye”, 最佳女歌手”Zamu”奖和”The Brussels International Trade Mart Award”提名． 1996,”Waar is het gevoel”专辑发行，无庸质疑的白金销量，并获第四次”Golden Eye”奖．

　　2001年10月，Unforgettable专辑发行，再次引起轰动，专辑收录了许多经典翻唱曲目，例如：Moonlight Shadow、Morning has Broken、I’ll Always Be There等等。
